Cookies

1. Notion:

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit that site. It allows the site to remember the pages you have visited and your preferences (such as username, language, font size and other preferences) so that you do not have to enter them again each time you visit the site. Cookies cannot be used to identify individuals; a cookie can only identify a machine.

2. Types of cookies used:

The Company uses different types of cookies.

(a)     “First party cookies” are technical cookies used by the site itself and which serve to optimize the site. We use them, for example, to keep track of your data from previous visits. For example, language cookies allow us to remember your language selection so that we do not have to ask you, each time you visit, which language you prefer.

(b)     “Third party cookies” are cookies that do not come from the site but from third parties, such as for example a marketing or advertising plugin present on the site. Examples include cookies from Facebook or Google Analytics. A visitor to the site must first consent to these cookies – there may be a bar at the bottom or top of the site referring to this policy. We use the following third-party cookies: Facebook, Google Analytics and Google Retargeting.

3. How can I find out more about cookies?

You can check and/or delete cookies at any time. Further information on this is available at aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies from your computer and configure your browser to block cookies. However, this means that you will have to enter your preferences each time you visit the site and that some parts of the site will not work or function properly. You can set your Internet browser so that cookies are not accepted, that you are notified when a cookie is installed, or that cookies are deleted from your hard drive after your visit.
