The collaboration places particular emphasis on women’s economic empowerment and the development of women’s entrepreneurship in Africa, notably in Togo, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Benin.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBut it all began several years ago, when Roseline set off \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eon an adventure\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e to Togo. There, she was welcomed by a Togolese family she met “by chance”, and stayed with them for a week. She lived alongside them, discovered their culture, listened to their stories, met friends of friends and complete strangers… Above all, she drew, observed and immersed herself in everything around her. Her travel sketchbook filled up as quickly as her heart.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBack in Belgium, this profound experience naturally found its way into a series of paintings, shaped by the generosity and warmth she had encountered in Togo. Among them was \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePeau à Peau\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e — a painting that now becomes a silk scarf, supporting CARE Belgium’s concrete work in favour of women.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe bold palette of this design — sunlit yellow, deep green, vivid red, turquoise blue, orange and pink… — takes on a particular luminosity when rendered in silk.
